Aiiiii~
The states was a really great experience, especially when I had the chance to experience a completely different culture. That's what I really enjoy during a trip. My curiousity level is so high, it sometimes drives me nuts, and slowly, it'd probably turn into stalking. Somehow or another. (It's so embarrassing, so I need to ease it somehow, somewhere.)
After visiting the states, I felt how lucky Singaporeans are in every way. Being a small country makes everything easier. We tend to feel that other countries, (like the states) is so good. But then looking back Singapore was a much better choice. (Okay, ignore the high housing, plus the high coe-that makes cars so expensive and the high cost of living.) There is no need for travelling on car or plane, to get to the other end of the country. Plus, both ends of the country has got a huge time difference, (one can be in the day and the other at night). I mean like, you wouldn't want to call your friend and find out that he/she is sleeping when it's suppose to be in the day, (You never know, you'd probably make a friend.)
Schools, hhmmm. They are probably more relaxing and stuff like that, but then. I kinda feel that by pushing us, the government/school actually gives us alot of chance to learn to handle stress. (Not to be mean or something,) The Americans are probably not as good as handling stress at us. Come on, which student can have 2 main projects and 2 tests in a week. (TMTH- Too much to handle!!) But then, we all made it through, and it seem to have made us a more awesome (Unqiue with extraordinary talent.) person.
Different countries have different way os upbringing, that's why it brought us this far. But, it was a seriously great experience on the whole. I'll get to do some blog post on my trip as soon as our last three projects, plus 3 presentations, plus 1 interview and 3 tests, oh and two main exams get by. Ah, I can't wait. One more month of torture, hehehe.
(I just, have more thoughts to pen down. But it's a little sensitive, I'll just stick them to my mind.)
